THERE’S BEEN A lot of talk in recent days about the possibility of Britain leaving the European Union next year without a withdrawal agreement in place.

Westminster and Brussels are still at odds over the future relationship between the two trade blocs, which increases the likelihood of a so-called no-deal Brexit.

Several business leaders in Britain have begun to voice their increasing frustration at the EU-UK negotiations, with Amazon’s UK boss, Doug Gurr, reportedly warning Brexit secretary Dominic Raab that a no-deal scenario will spark “civil unrest”.

The European Commission issued a warning to member states urging them to prepare for all potential Brexit outcomes, including one in which no agreement is reached on time.

Work is underway to prepare Ireland’s ports for the possibility of a hard Brexit, among other contingency plans.

However, Raab, speaking to the BBC, described the other side’s comments as “irresponsible” and an obvious attempt to “try and ramp up the pressure” on the UK government.

With that in mind, we’re asking Fora readers this week: Do you think there will be a no-deal Brexit?
