This Irish juice company is the winner of the first VidPitch Competition

Skinny Malinkys beat four other shortlisted entries in the public vote.

COLD-PRESSED JUICE company Skinny Malinkys has taken out the first VidPitch Competition, which featured Fora as a media partner.

The business, set up in 2013 by Paula Heaney, was picked as having the best pitch video after more than 10,000 votes from the public were cast.

It beat out the four other shortlisted entries: Aosta Medical, Hamal Backpacks, Talk2MeMore and Wynk.

Skinny Malinkys will take away the cash prize of €5,000 from sponsors Microfinance Ireland and the Local Enterprise Office, as well as a year-long hot desk from Space@DublinBIC.

Heaney said the prize would be used to launch the company’s new branding and line of juice ‘shots’, as well as a subscription service to deliver its products direct to customers each month.
